We’re #1 – Goodman dominates the commercial real estate market

Goodman Commercial is proud to be recognized in Business in Vancouver’s B.C.’s 100 Biggest Real Estate Deals of 2025

The numbers are in – we’re thrilled to announce that Goodman Commercial has once again been recognized on Business in Vancouver’s prestigious list of the Top 100 Biggest Real Estate Deals of 2025.

Last year, we captured 11% of the total market share among the province’s top 100 commercial real estate transactions, with 11 deals that made the cut. We were also named the leading team in the province, closing more transactions than any other team across all asset classes – a remarkable achievement.

We’re not taking our foot off the gas – 2026 is already presenting exciting new opportunities for our clients.

Congratulations to every team who made the list – every transaction this year was a hard-earned win.

Goodman Commercial Honoured with 2026 Canadian Transactions of the Year Award

We’re also proud to announce that Goodman Commercial has been recognized by Connect CRE Canada for successfully brokering the court-ordered sale of the Siena mixed-use condominium project in Burnaby, BC.

Appointed by Deloitte Restructuring on behalf of Desjardins, our team navigated significant challenges — including a partially excavated site, existing presale contracts, and environmental risks — to deliver a $12 million sale by way of reverse vesting order to Landa Developments.

This award further reinforces Goodman Commercial’s market leadership in complex court-ordered sales, development land, investment properties, and apartment buildings across Western Canada.

We continue to deliver exceptional results in complex, high-stakes transactions.

Goodman wraps up another outstanding panel at the 2026 Western Canada Apartment Investment Conference here in Edmonton!

2026 Western Canada Apartment Investment Conference in Edmonton. From left to right: Derek Townsend, Samuel Dean, Jandip Deol, Mark Goodman and Dylan Mosewich

Huge thanks to my fellow panelists for a thoughtful, practical, and high-energy discussion on “Deal Negotiations and Transaction Activity in 2026 and Beyond.”

We covered exactly what’s happening on the ground: who the active buyers and sellers are, how we’re bridging valuation gaps, proven strategies for raising equity, assessing cash flow, navigating deal complexities, where cap rates are heading, and what the next 12-month forecast looks like across Western Canada’s multi-family markets.

Sharp insights, candid conversation, and a highly engaged crowd – that’s what defined this panel.

These discussions are always a highlight of the conference because they cut straight to the real-world realities of getting deals done in today’s market.

As always, we’re here to assist! Feel free to reach out to discuss your property or the market in general.
