About our company, team and services

For over 45 years, the powerhouse Goodman name has been synonymous with expertise in multifamily apartment sales, commercial properties, development sites and land. We’ve brokered some of the biggest real-estate transactions in Metro Vancouver.

Our company started with David Goodman, who sold his first property in 1972. Over the decades, key team members have joined us. Today we’re one of Metro Vancouver’s top commercial real-estate firms, generating outstanding results for clients on a consistent basis.

With over $7 billion in team sales volume and over 2000 transactions, we continually leverage new methods and technologies to broaden our reach.

    Since 2002, Mark has been a Goodman partner and principal. Over the years, he’s played a pivotal role in putting the company ahead of the industry curve.

    Mark is a past director of the Vancouver Real Estate Board — Commercial Division.

    Mark plays a lead role in publishing the Goodman Report, the company’s state-of-the-art platform for apartment news and marketing. The Goodman Report has positioned Goodman Commercial as authorities on apartment building sales in B.C. and across Canada.

    Mark is frequently quoted in the Vancouver Sun, National Post, The Globe and Mail, Business in Vancouver, Western Investor, Landlord BC Magazine and more. He has been a moderator and keynoter speaker for the Urban Development Institute, Vancouver Real Estate Forum and the Canadian Apartment Investment Conference.

    He holds a degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia.

    A former appraiser and director at Altus Group, Ian brings over fifteen years of experience covering the full range of commercial real estate: retail, office, industrial, multifamily and development land. He has worked as a development manager at one of the top developers in the city, and been in the room alongside clients underwriting the acquisition and disposition of billions of dollars of investment properties. He’s been relied upon as a key consultant as clients navigate some of the largest, most complex development projects in Metro Vancouver.
